Introduction to Still Life Drawing

Learn the art of drawing from observation. This class will meet for a total of three times and  is for those who wants to learn the basics of drawing and for those who want to develop their drawing skills further. Still Life drawing trains artists to look at an arrangement of inanimate objects and see them like an artist - with a perceptive awareness of their outline, shape, proportions, tone, color, texture, form and composition.


Workshop outcome:

  • Learn the art and skills of drawing from observation
  • Learn drawing lines, shapes and forms using pencils


About Grace:

Empowering creative minds in technical and conceptual skills through fun and productive class sessions and workshops. Grace Joetama was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. She obtained her Bachelors of Fine Art in Fine Arts with minor in Social Sciences from California Institute of the Arts in 2013. Her art-making practice is tailored to highlight the phenomenon that deserves paying attention to, using elements of play, language, and perception. Outside the conventional art world, she is always eager to communicate through social and community practice.
